Internship Program Overview

Our internship program offers hands-on experience in healthcare, administration, information technology, clinical services, and public health initiatives. Interns gain real-world exposure, mentorship, and professional development in a structured and supportive environment.

Eligibility Requirements

To apply, applicants must meet the following:

• Must be a college Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior

• Minimum GPA of 2.5

• Must be in good academic standing with your institution

• Strong communication skills and professionalism required

Required Application Documents

Applicants must submit:

• Unofficial transcript

• Resume (recommended but not required)

• Two (2) letters of recommendation

Letters of recommendation may be from:

• High school teacher

• College professor

• Organization president

• Vice president or leadership member

Available Internship Departments

Information Technology (IT)

• Basic IT support and troubleshooting

• System and data entry support

• EHR system assistance

• Website and software support

Office Assistant

• Answering phone calls and assisting clients

• Filing and organizing documents

• Scheduling appointments

• Front desk support

Administration Department

• Office management support

• HR and documentation assistance

• Compliance and records support

• Event coordination

Clinical / Laboratory Department

• Medical assistant support (patient intake, vitals)

• Laboratory assistant duties (specimen handling, labeling)

• Phlebotomy support (observation/assistance under supervision)

• Clinical records and lab data entry

Public Health Internship

• Support community health fairs and outreach programs

• Assist with health education campaigns

• Help collect and organize community health data

• Support chronic disease awareness initiatives

• Assist with surveys and wellness programs
